Melissa Rogers has always had a passion for education and child psychology. She began her career at a non-profit that partnered with preschools in underserved neighborhoods. After graduating from The University of California, Irvine with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Education, Melissa began her work in ABA where she was trained in pivotal response therapy, a play-based method. She immediately fell in love! She was able to target meaningful skills while having fun.
After moving to Utah in 2014, Melissa began working for Autism Solutions as a behavior technician. Eager to expand her skills, Melissa pursued her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University. Melissa graduated and passed her BCBA exam in 2017 and has been practicing since. Melissa is passionate about continuing education and developing her skills as a behavior analyst. Most recently, she attended training for the Picture Exchange Communication System. She is passionate about distilling knowledge and helping uplift and support other professionals.
Melissa is most excited about her newest role as a Lead Supervisor as she is able to help potential BCBAs develop the necessary skills to become ethical and effective practitioners. Melissa emphasizes communication and empowerment in her practice. Her goal is to amplify her clients’ voices so that they can meet their needs and live happy, fulfilled lives.
